Inspiration: Lingerie

I’ve long been a fan of lingerie. I’m not talking about the trashy stripper-esque versions often found in sex shops, but real lingerie. Slips, corsets, garters and bralettes, ideally made in fine laces, satins and silks. It’s feminine, classic, and undeniably sexy. Honestly, how can one resist?

I definitely don’t believe in saving lingerie for a boy. Quite the opposite in fact, I see wearing beautiful undergarments as something women should do for themselves. Imagine the boost of confidence coming from the secret knowledge of wearing beautiful unmentionables.

As of late, it has become acceptable to let a little (or a little more) lace show. Sheer tops with pretty bras or corsets can be seen on the trendiest of girls. For those of you who aren’t quite that risque, lingerie-inspired pieces are the perfect alternative. Satin dresses with a little lace detailing – gorgeous.

So dolls, why not treat yourselves some pretty lingerie?
